THE MISSION OF ADOPTION COUNSELING IS TO VALIDATE, INFORM AND GUIDE.
As a therapist, I provide current adoption literature, necessary skills and techniques to ensure healing or resolution of a person’s or family’s adoption experience. Counseling can help with sorting out what issues are adoption related and which issues are not. Counseling can also help you to learn about and express your adoption story in a new way so that you can experience inner security, confidence and self compassion.
