ART & HEALING GROUPS FOR CANCER RECOVERY
UPLIFTING THE SPIRIT
The following groups were created with the intention to support healing in cancer by offering connection with others, mindfulness based art therapy and psycho-social skills for coping with the experiences of cancer.
Patients in medical treatment or those who have ended medical treatment and are in the survivorship phase of healing along with caregivers are welcome to register for the art and healing group.
The structure of the group offers time for sharing your experiences and concerns, supporting others, making art and learning body-mind skills to manage stress in cancer recovery.
The creative expression or art making portion of the group requires no additional fine art training. Basic art instruction and art materials are provided. Read more about Art Therapy
